How do I record a tab or the desktop using Screencastify?

To record your desktop or a specific tab using Screencastify, first navigate to the tab you want to record. If you want to record your entire desktop, you can begin recording from any Chrome tab. To begin recording, click the Screencastify   icon from the extensions at the top of the Chrome browser and then select the desired type of recording. The recording options are Browser Tab, Desktop, or the Webcam only option. If using the Desktop option, you will be asked if you want to record an application window or your entire desktop. Select the option that fits your needs. Lastly, click the blue ‘Record’ button. When you are finished recording, open the Screencastify extension again, and click the stop square. You can also begin and stop recordings with the Alt + Shift + R keyboard shortcut.
