Assignment submission error "File must be greater than 0 KB"

This error message will appear in a Canvas Assignment that has the 'File Upload' option enabled. Canvas is expecting a student to select a file saved to their Chromebook's hard drive and upload it to the assignment. This may be appropriate if a student is submitting a photo saved to their Chromebook from the Camera app, for example.

However, students usually want to submit a file from the cloud in their Google Drive account, such as a photo, video, Doc, or Slide already in their Drive. This can be easily done be selecting the Google Drive tab on the assignment submission menu.

When a student has successfully selected their file using the Google Drive option, the assignment can be submitted without receiving the error message.
